Sometimes words or phrases just keep occurring in daily life. Do you know what I mean?
“Look up” has been the phrase. There is a lovely song Look up by Joy oladokun. I love it. Then the movie don’t look up; end of the world stuff mixed feelings about that.
Look up takes on personal significance because I’m training for some mountain climbing. Looking up at the big mountains is an exercise in fear and joy.
And looking up counteracts shame. Shame doesn’t meet eyes and doesn’t look up. And lastly there is what Andrew left me. A card that says “Even in the dark there’s always a light.” I’m looking up Andrew. To see the light.
