Finding the 🚙

I’m waiting for my target order in the drive up. And I see this older man, stocking hat at the elf angle, leather jacket too short, no mittens and too long pants shuffling past me. He’s looking for his car. Painfully shuffles down the aisle in front of me and looks around. No car. Painfully shuffles back and crosses to the next aisle. And I’ve been there, in that cross between feeling stupid and ashamed. 

And I think to myself…some days we’re all just walking around a big, cold parking lot trying to find the sanctuary of a warm car.
